08/06/2009 - ARBURG was more than satisfied over the outcome of this year’s Chinaplas exhibition. Despite worldwide difficult situation, the interest of high-end injection moulding technology was large. Particular attention was given to the electric ALLROUNDER 570 A which, as a highlight, impressively demonstrated its performance capabilities in a high-speed packaging application.

Even though the electric high-speed machine was the main focus of attention, a great deal of interest for the other exhibits was also registered at the mainly Asian trade visitors: ARBURG demonstrated an automation for economic production of technically-complex moulded part using the combination of an ALLROUNDER GOLDEN EDITION with the MULTILIFTV SELECT robotic system. Also very well received was the encapsulation of inserts on a vertical ALLROUNDER 375 V equipped with a two-station-rotary table, which enables shortened cycle times.
 
With numerous contacts and concrete requests ARBURG could register an excellent feedback. About one third of visitors on the stand have not been from China, what could be seen as a further indicator for the increasing worldwide importance of the Chinaplas. “The exhibits clearly reflected the high quality of our product range. The discussions with visitors and customers have confirmed, that our high-tech machines are in great demand from the Chinese market”, said Max Man, subsidiary manager in Shenzhen, summing up ARBURG’s trade fair appearance.

He summarised the further prospects as follows: “All three Chinese ARBURG subsidiaries, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen, go into the second half of the year with confidence. From the exhibition itself, we expect a positive impetus for the Chinese plastics market, in particular for investments in the high-end sectors of the automotive, packaging and medical technology industries. It is precisely for these areas that ARBURG offers the appropriate solutions with its high-quality and flexible machine range.”
