03/12/09 – ARBURG presented its state-of-the-art injection moulding technology extremely successfully with two high-performance ALLROUNDER H (HIDRIVE) hybrid machines at the Plast Avrasya, which took place from 19 to 22 November 2009 in Istanbul. “The main focus was not only on the energy-efficient ALLROUNDER 370 H and ALLROUNDER 570 H, but also on the exhibited sector-specific applications,” said Engin Malcan, ARBURG´s Turkish subsidiary manager. 

With its cycle time of only 1.9 seconds, the high-speed, thin-walled application running on an ALLROUNDER 570 H impressed the trade visitors. The automation solution from the automotive sector was perceived to be extremely user-friendly thanks to the vertically-operating MULTILIFT V SELECT robotic system. Plug inserts were produced on the ALLROUNDER 370 H, removed by the robotic system and set down in the cavity pattern. Both exhibits provided for numerous animated technical discussions.

The Turkish subsidiary manager's assessment of this year's trade fair and its possible effects on the coming year was unexpectedly optimistic:  “There was a substantially positive basic mood among visitors and plans to increase investment for 2010 were mentioned during many discussions.”
