Chinaplas, which was held in Shanghai from 19 to 22 April 2010, was a complete success for ARBURG. A high-speed thin-wall application from the packaging sector and the automated production of a high-precision technical moulded part was presented.
The response of Asian visitors to the two high-tech exhibits was excellent, particularly because these perfectly reflected various current topics in the injection moulding industry: these ranged from packaging, high-speed applications and high performance to precision and automation – and always under the aspect of cost-efficiency.

The quality of visitors was not only first class, but had actually improved since the previous year. The local plastics industry had also provided a strong impetus. Customers and interested parties had arranged specific appointments in advance, enabling them to discuss and initiate specific projects at the exhibition itself.
Because of the positive developments evident at Chinaplas, ARBURG is confident of its prospects in China in the coming years.
